New channel for Veaivo Ask
The same assistant that answers on your website, reachable on WhatsApp. Families ask in the place they already message everyone else, and get the same accurate answer from your own content, at ten at night on a Sunday if that is when the question arrives.
Asked on a Sunday night, about Monday morning. Answered there and then.
Ofcom puts WhatsApp at 90 percent of UK online adults, and three quarters of them use it every day. No app to install, no login to forget, no account to set up.
Close the tab and the website chat is gone. A WhatsApp thread is still there on Thursday when they think of the next question.
Nearly every school has parent run year group chats it does not control and cannot correct. A parent can paste your number into one. No other channel you own spreads by itself.
Grandparents, prospective parents, a neighbour, a family weighing three schools in October. None of them have a login to your systems. All of them have WhatsApp.
Your parent communications platform and this do two different jobs. One moves a question into a person's inbox. The other answers it.
There is a whole class of question that needs a person: anything about one child, anything that depends on a family's circumstances, anything that is a judgement rather than a fact. The assistant does not guess at those. It says it cannot answer, takes a name and an email, and the enquiry lands in your dashboard and in the right inbox.
This is a public information line, not a communications channel. Same indexed public content as the website assistant. No pupil records, nothing sent unprompted, and it never starts a conversation a family did not start.
It answers from the pages and documents you gave it, and cites them. If the answer is not in there, it says so and hands over rather than filling the gap itself.
Every conversation is logged in your dashboard, centrally, retrievable, under a retention policy you set. A phone call to the office leaves no record at all.
It is a school owned business number, centrally managed. No school conversation sits on a personal device, and nobody has to hand out their own mobile.
One assistant, one set of rules. A message that needs a person routes to a person on this channel exactly as it does on your website.
It will not message your families unprompted. It will not tell a parent why their son was in detention, because it has no access to your MIS and we would not give it any. It will not replace the system you already use to send messages out to families, and if a supplier tells you their broadcast tool and this are the same product, they are selling you one of them badly.
One knowledge base, two front doors, one bill.
We are building this channel next, and your enquiry is how we decide what it does first. Tell us whether you want it for prospective enquiries, for current parents, or for both.
